Our group's expertise lies on the effects of amino acid chirality on the behaviour of short heterochiral peptides, which are composed by L- and D- amino acids in specific positions along enantiopure sequences. Such effects span from conformation and bioactivity to supramolecular behavior, e.g., in self-assembly, co-assembly, and interactions with other molecules or nanosctructures.
